In the world that we all live in
TODAY, promotions and advertising should be remarkable and appealing not blurry and discolored.
Nothing kills a marketing campaign faster than some second-rate or amateur
images and graphics. One of the most vital aspects of any and all marketing
campaigns is attracting customers to available products and services. Yes, the
explanation of what the product or service has to offer is an appealing part of
an advertisement but in the current environment, people do not have the time to
sit and read to find out if they are interested in whatever they are looking
at. The first part of promotions is to attract the attention to WANT to learn more. Do you believe that
people will want to continue looking at a product if it is not properly posted
on an Internet site, blurry and/or distorted? Proper posting entails many
different details. Each and every single website on the Inter-webs has a set
standard as it concerns the graphics images posted and loaded to their
databases. Everyone has seen outstanding promotions ads in comparison to the
mediocre ads. This could be from just using bad images or that the images were
not properly designed for this or that site.
When taking photos of a product,
people should use professional images that have the HOLY COW, WOW factor. Yes, cell phones today have really great
picture and video taking abilities that create decent pictures but those images
are better for Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook selfies, informing fans,
friends, and clients of your location, taking Periscope/Facebook video, etc. It
is the Here and Now concept and does
attract followers and fans. Take away the human interaction factor of the Here
and Now concept and remember that marketing is also about attracting unknown
attention to the product. The only way this is accomplished is by creating the
images that will attract attention without any type of communication to
convince people that what they are looking at is awesome or worthy of their
attention.
When you are thinking about selling
your product or service, please ask your promotions guru what type of
photography they will be using in their marketing campaign. If you get to the
point of taking photos of your product and you see someone taking cell phone
pictures for your marketing campaign, you NEED
to have a serious discussion with them. Remember, the better the advertisement
wording and images, the more attention your product will receive.

productive day! When you need someone who fully understands marketing,
